CAL / OSHA Requirements

California Labor Code Section 6401.7 and Cal/OSHA General Industry Section 3203 REQUIRE every employer to establish, implement and maintain an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).

Basic annual service includes:

  • bulletin board with required postings
  • documented safety meeting ( two site visits) (additional site visits can be scheduled)
  • injury and illness Prevention Program (IIPP Manual)
  • annual written hazard inspection

EPA "Blue Cards"

Fulfills EPA REQUIREMENTS to train employees on the hazards of working around pesticides.  Bacome Field Representative issue official EPA certified "blue cards" verifying employee training and certification has been completed.

Forklift Certification

OSHA regulations (CFR 1910.178) require that non-agricultural operators must be trained and certified as competent to operate forklifts.  Course completion includes successfully passing both written and driving test.  Certificates are valid for three years.

Harassment Training

California Law AB1825 requires employers of 50 or more employees to provide two hours of interactive training to supervisors.  “Interactive” means video alone is not sufficient without discussion led by a qualified trainer.  Training includes law review, prevention and correction of harassment.
